Marie Sandman grew up in Albany, Oregon, and has spent her entire career helping families across the region protect their health and future. She started in insurance in 1978 under the guidance of Jim Corwin and, after nearly two decades of learning the business, became the agency’s owner in 1997. Seeing a growing need for clear Medicare guidance, Marie expanded Corwin Insurance to help seniors navigate a system that can feel overwhelming. Her deep knowledge of both the industry and the local community means every client gets honest advice, grounded in experience and genuine care.

Marie is an Albany native.
She started her insurance career in 1978, working for Jim Corwin. In 1997 Marie purchased Corwin Insurance Agency from Jim when he retired.
She is married to Rick and together they have 4 adult children, Kenny, Heather, Mandy and Jeff. They also have 10 grandchildren.
In her spare time, she will be found cheering for and supporting their grandchildren in whatever sport event they are involved in. She also enjoys sewing and other crafts along with reading and just being with family and friends.

For more than 45 years, Marie has served Albany and the surrounding areas, raising her family here and supporting local organizations. Clients see her at community events, volunteering, and working closely with multiple carriers.
